Our Love Story
2019
Encounter
2019 marked the beginning of our acquaintance. We didn’t really get to know each other, just merely aware of each other’s presence.
Christmas 2019, we met again at the church’s Christmas celebration, but once again, we didn’t greet or speak to each other.

Serendipity
In 2022, we met again when Eunike finished her studies, and Aziz was starting a new career in Bali. It was then that we finally had the chance to talk and get to know each other better.
As time passed, we felt a connection and decided to pursue a serious romantic relationship.

2022 - 2024
LDR
One month after committing to each other, we had to enter a long-distance relationship (LDR) because Eunike had to return to Surabaya for work. LDR felt easy when shared with the right person. We video-called almost every day after work and maintained good and frequent communication. Thanks to technology, this relationship continued to thrive. We sent food to each other, prayed for one another, and visited each other.

It’s not a one-sided relationship, but one of equality and mutual acceptance.
